Greg Pai is the Managing Director and a Senior Partner of Paradigm Asset Management Co., LLC. For 14 years, Mr. Pai has been responsible for overseeing a wide range of investment, strategic, and operational functions at the firm. As a senior member of the firm’s investment team, Mr. Pai is an integral part of the leadership overseeing all research and product development initiatives. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time partner in 1996, Mr. Pai served as a frequent consultant to firm, which included support and advise on the management buyout of the firm from M.R. Beal & Company in the mid-90’s. Mr. Pai engineered the buyout of Affiliated Managers Group’s (ticker symbol “AMG”) interest in 2002 making Paradigm 100% employee-owned.Together, Francis and Pai grew the firm to $3 Billion under management.

Prior to joining Paradigm, Mr. Pai accumulated over 10 years of experience occupying key senior positions in the entertainment industry with responsibilities ranging from corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. He has been recognized for being on the cutting edge of technology and creating new business paradigms for the entertainment industry which included the early transformations of the industry which continue today. His last industry post was as Executive Vice President of Speer Communications where he reported directly to Roy Speer, co-founder of the Home Shopping Network.

Mr. Pai’s earliest professional experience was as a Senior Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse & Company in New York where he developed his skills in both small business consulting and financial services. His areas of expertise focused on the strategic, operational, and financial development of emerging companies (early stage and turnarounds) with annual revenues between $5 million and $50 million. In addition, Mr. Pai held a senior level post in PW’s Financial Services Special Practice Unit where he oversaw projects integrating PC-based technology at custodial bank clients such as State Street Bank and mutual fund managers.
